Scope of BIOMAT 2005 (main keywords) We welcome papers and posters of, but not limited to, the following areas:
Optimization of biomolecular structures Pattern recognition in biological sciences Physiology Populational biology Protein structure-function analysis Proteomics Quantum Computing Quantum Information Submission of abstracts and full papers Prospective authors are invited to submit an electronic copy of their abstracts (1 or 2 pages long) to BIOMAT 2005 Scientific Committee (info@biomat.org) by the due date (July 17, 2005).. Abstracts will not be considered for presentation or publication. Only accepted full papers will be considered for presentation and publication. Publication The conference proceedings will be published in the ISBN indexed book called "Proceedings of the Second International Symposium on Mathematical and Computational Biology / Fifth Brazilian Symposium on Mathematical and Computational Biology". Only accepted full papers will be considered for publication in the proceedings. The Editorial Board will select among those accepted full papers the ones for publication. Organizers / Sponsors A number of universities faculty members and their staff in cooperation with the Mathematical and Computational Biology Group of UFRJ will be organizing the conference. Co-sponsors from research centers, international associations, international research groups are most welcome. Previous sponsors included: UFRJ, FIOCRUZ, FAPERJ, Fogarty International Center - USA, Petrobras, CenDoTec - French Embassy, CAPES, UESC, FAPESB. _______________________________________________________________________________ BIOMAT V Scientific Program Committee
