Dear Members of the BIOMAT Consortium, Prospective Authors of the BIOMAT 2013 Indexed Book, Participants of the BIOMAT 2013 Symposium, All other interested research workers and faculty members,

We are pleased to announce that an Agreement has been signed on 01st February 2013 between the BIOMAT Consortium and the York University from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The validity is for 03 years and the Agreement can be renewed by subsequent periods of 03 years, in case of interest of the signataires. Some joint activities for the year 2013 are listed below. These are also expected to contribute for the celebrations of the MPE 2013 - Mathematics of the Planet Earth 2013.

1. The joint organization of the BIOMAT 2013 International Symposium , to be held in the prestigious Fields Institute for Research in Mathematical Sciences in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, November 04-08.

2. Twenty fellowships which consist of accommodation in a Toronto hotel from Sunday afternoon, November 03 to Saturday morning, November 09 on a double occupancy level, to be given to research students and young postdocs on a first come first served basis. These fellowships are a gentle offer of the Agent-Based Modelling Laboratory of York University, Canada, to attendees of the BIOMAT 2013. Authors of submmited works (even on abstract form) are strongly encouraged to apply.

3. Ten fellowships of $5 K CDN (five thousand canadian dollars) each, to be given to research students and young postdocs to do scientific work in the Centre for Disease Modelling of York University, Toronto, on all the interdiciplinary fields of the general areas of Mathematical and Computational Biology and Biological Physics in a period of twelve weeks which will start with the Tutorial Talks of the BIOMAT 2013 Symposium. The offer of these fellowships is supported by MITACS Globalink International Research Internship Program from Canada. We again encourage authors of submitted works to apply.

The applications are expected to contain the full name, profession, academic background (student or postdoc), title, scientific affiliation, full address, and present nationality of the candidate.
